Zoning, Inspection & Permits

Our department is responsible for ensuring that all properties within the city limits of Fredericktown comply with local building codes and zoning regulations. We work tirelessly to maintain the safety and quality of life for all our residents.

Our experienced team of inspectors and zoning officers is dedicated to providing excellent customer service while enforcing the city's codes and regulations. We strive to work collaboratively with residents and business owners to resolve any issues and ensure compliance with all city ordinances.

Zoning Regulations
Our department is responsible for enforcing the city's zoning regulations, which provide guidelines for the use of land within the city limits. These regulations help maintain a balance between residential and commercial development, protect the character and aesthetic value of our community, and ensure that land use is appropriate for the surrounding area.

Inspections
Our department conducts inspections to ensure that all buildings and structures within the city limits are in compliance with local building codes. We inspect new construction, additions, alterations, and repairs to ensure that they are up to code and safe for occupants.

We also conduct regular inspections of rental properties to ensure that they meet minimum health and safety standards. Our goal is to ensure that all properties within the city are safe, clean, and maintained to a high standard.

Permits
We issue permits for construction, demolition, and other activities that require approval from the city. Our goal is to ensure that all construction and development activities within the city comply with local building codes and zoning regulations.

Our department is committed to providing excellent service to the community, and we are always available to answer any questions you may have regarding zoning regulations, building codes, and permits.
