The City is in the process of designing a project to make pedestrian improvements to N. Chambers Drive and Garrett Street. Improvements will consist of new sidewalks on the west side of N. Chambers Drive, from the entrance of the Bozlee’s Foodmart to the entrance of the New Morning Apartments; new sidewalks on the south side of Garrett Street, from the existing sidewalk to N. Chambers Drive; and on the north side of Garrett Street, from N. Chambers Drive to the network of sidewalks for the high school.
The project is a collaboration between the City and the Missouri Department of Transportation using Transportation Alternative Program funds to assist in the costs of the project.
