Main Street Entertainment and Business

Our main street district is home to a thriving business community offering a variety of dining experiences. We have a well stocked hardware store, gyms, antiques, salons, florists, appliances, furniture, pharmacy, public library and more within an easy walk of the Courthouse. During the summer months Friday nights are filled with live Bluegrass music thanks to Pickin' on the Square.

Who We Are

Fredericktown is located in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, surrounded on three sides by the Mark Twain National Forest. Our community was settled in 1819 by French settlers. We are the County Seat of Madison County and the home of the historic Madison County Courthouse, built in 1898 and designed by architect,Theodore Link.
