Fredericktown Events

Our County Fair.

One of our historic cabins open during the fair.

A large turnout at Freakytown.
We have quite a few annual events. The Azalea Festival is held the first weekend of May and includes a parade, carnvival rides, craft and food booths. In June we have the Lion's Club Rodeo and in July an Independence Day celebration. The Madison County Fair is the first weekend of October and includes rides, music, games, booths and various animal exhibits and competitions. Other all events of note are the annual Cub-a-Rama, Chili Cook-Off, and Freakytown in late October.
Who We Are
Fredericktown is located on the outer boundary of the St. Francois Mountains, surrounded on three sides by the Mark Twain National Forest. Our community was settled in 1819 by French settlers. We are the County Seat of Madison County and the home of the historic Madison County Courthouse, built in 1898 and designed by architect,Theodore Link.
